Extends the shelf life of a frozen dough baking application by 6 months to a year. Bellarise Red Semi-Dry Yeas t(SDY) is a unique strain of Saccharomyces cerevisiae (yeast) which under goes a proprietary freezing process to render the yeast dormant until use. Far superior to cream or crumbled yeast for frozen dough applications. Best used in doughs with a high sugar content of 7% or greater (Bakers %).
